King Protea on Grey

Who can resist the beauty of the Protea Cynaroides or King Protea.  South Africa’s national flower since 1976.  Chosen because it symbolises South Africa’s beauty and allegedly – “flowering of our potential as a nation in pursuit of the African Renaissance”.
